About Us

Squire’s Vineyard is a luxury rural estate offering classic Hampton’s styling with a relaxed country feel. Set on 100 private, picturesque acres of rolling fields, vineyards and dams it provides the perfect backdrop for a destination wedding.

Bordered by Pokolbin and Rothbury, Squire’s Vineyard is located in the Sweetwater area of Belford and is perfectly placed to offer peace and quiet alongside stunning scenery.  A stones throw from some of the best vineyards, restaurants and attractions the Hunter Valley has to offer, as a Wedding Venue it is well supported by plenty of neighbouring properties offering additional accommodation for couples or larger groups so other guests can be close to the venue.

Wedding & Event Packages at Squire's

From January 2023 we now offer the following packages:

Elopement Packages starting at $1,650 ranging from 2-40 guests (including bridal couple) – a variety of packages are available with and without accommodation and include catering.  We offer a bespoke service to create your ideal elopement.  Please note, elopement packages are not generally available on Saturdays.  Scroll down for more information on Elopement Packages

Small Wedding Packages starting at $4,950 for up to 50 guests – a variety of packages are available with and without accommodation and we can include catering quotes from our approved caterers.  Scroll down for more information on Small Packages

Full wedding packages – starting from 60 guests – these packages include everything that Squire’s has to offer, vintage caravan bar, outdoor croquet pavilion set up with vintage rattan armchairs and outdoor lounges, bar tables and stools, 2 x stunning pagoda marquees, lawn games, stunning indoor reception facilities and luxury on-site accommodation for up to 30 guests – they are the complete wedding package and perfect for couples wanting to make more of their wedding than just the ceremony and reception.

Full packages offer the opportunity to host multiple events onsite with exclusive use of the venue and create more of a weekend or mid week “Wedstival”/ Wedding Festival.    They offer excellent value for money and are our most popular package by far.  Scroll down for more information on Full Wedding Packages

What sets us apart from other venues?

Squire’s is a BYO venue for alcohol/drinks but we are not a DIY venue – all our packages offer substantial inclusions, such as pre wedding planning and on the day set up and co-ordination of the entire event plus many extras.  

What we offer is the ultimate wedding package including styling and event planning/management with all packages including our in-house styling and event planning team and our “next level” styling inventory list.  Squire’s Inventory includes a huge selection of quality real touch artificial florals in many varieties and colour schemes to help manage your “extra” costs and keep you within budget.  You send us your “wedding inspo” shots from pinterest for the ceremony and reception styling and we come back to you with some sample mock ups to show you what we can create for you – all within the package price.

On-site Luxury Accommodation

Please note, on site accommodaton is generally booked in conjunction with on site Weddings and Small Events or Elopements and tends to get booked 6-24 months in advance, therefore availability for accommodation only bookings is only released up to 3 to 6 months out from the date of stay.

Squire's Vineyard Luxury Guest House

Our Luxury Guest House evokes style and serenity with commanding views to our boutique vineyard. The Guest House offers five generous bedrooms, 1 with queen size bed and 4 with king size beds.   There are three stylish bathrooms (one of which is ensuite to the Queen Bedroom) and a lovely open plan living and dining pavilion with cook's kitchen, indoor BBQ, multiple dishwashers and open fire / air conditioning for extra comfort.  Dual courtyards accessible from the living pavilion provide ample outdoor space. The property is ideally suited to a group of up to 10 adults.  Whilst the Guest House can sleep a further 4 guests, for accommodation only bookings this is on a "by approval" basis and additional charges will apply.  The additional 4 guests would be in shared rooms.  When approved (in writing) groups of up to 14 guests are generally limited to 10 adults and 4 children. 

The Guest House provides the perfect base for groups of people to stay together in complete comfort.  A generous starter pack of breakfast provisions (including nespresso machine and pods), welcome cheese platter and some complimentary wine from our vineyard are included with all bookings.  Quality linen and toiletries are also included for use during your stay.   The Guest House is fully fenced and child friendly. The Guest House is let for accommodation only -  no events/parties are permitted in the guest house.  We have event packages available which are strictly hosted in our onsite designated function areas and incur additional charges.  The Guest House is NOT pet friendly, so please, to avoid disappointment, do not bring pets with you.

Squire's Vineyard Luxury 2 Bedroom Suites

Squire's Vineyard also has 4 x Luxury Suites each sleep up to 4 guests in complete comfort.  The Suites each have 2 bedroom areas which share a large two-way bathroom and an extremely spacious open plan area with full kitchen, dining and living leading on to an alfresco area to enjoy a glass of wine and sunset views over the vineyard.  With vaulted ceilings, reverse cycle airconditioning and ceiling fans in all bedrooms and living areas, the suites offer all year round comfort for guests and provide an ideal base from which to explore the Hunter.  A starter pack of continental breakfast provisions (including nespresso machine and pods), welcome cheese platter and some complimentary wine from our vineyard are included with all bookings.

Suite 1 is accessibility compliant and Suite 4 is pet friendly to approved applications only - pet applications must be made in writing and written approval granted.  Where your pet application is approved an additional cleaning charge may apply.  The remaining Suites are strictly no pets allowed.

Up to 3-6 months out we open our remaining available dates for "Accommodation Only" bookings, please note, no events are permitted to be held within the accommodation.  If you would like to host an event on the property, please contact us about our event packages.


A Security Deposit applies for all accommodation and event bookings


1 night bookings are generally not allowed, however we may on occasion accept them based on availability (a single night surcharge applies)
3 night minimum for long weekend, Easter, Xmas and New Year bookings

The Guest House and Suites 1, 2 and 3 are NOT pet friendly, to avoid embarrassment and refused entry, please do not bring pets with you.  Suite 4 is pet friendly on application, this is generally only available when booked in conjunction with a on site wedding/event booking.

ACCOMMODATION CANCELLATION POLICY (for event cancellation policies please refer our event contract for terms and conditions)

We understand that sometimes circumstances change and you may need to cancel your accommodation booking.  For accommodation only bookings If you need to cancel more than 3 months prior to your check in date we will refund your booking in full, less any merchant fees applicable to your booking if you paid by credit card.  If you would prefer to avoid merchant fees, please contact us and we can send you an invoice so you can pay by direct bank transfer. If you cancel within 3 months of your check in date we will not provide a refund unless we are able to re-book the property for the same dates.   This refund policy is for accommodation only bookings - a separate policy applies to wedding and event bookings and accommodation that is let as part of a wedding/event booking and is detailed in our event contracts.

If due to unforeseen circumstances, we have to cancel the booking/close the guest house or suites we will provide you with as much notice as possible and will refund the booking in full.
