My husband and I were married at Squire's Vineyard in early December 2024, and we cannot speak highly enough of the team and venue. Natalie and Katie were amazing in the lead up to the wedding. Their communication was prompt, thorough and made me feel at ease with all the planning. Squire's provides a lot of faux flowers and pretty much all essential styling items, but I had extra styling items I wanted to bring along, which was no problem at all. The staff styled my items beautifully too! They even managed to get a 60cm motorised disco ball hanging from the roof at my request, which was no mean feat, but again they did this with ease - something I was extremely grateful for. Plus, it looked AMAZING.
On the day of the wedding, everything ran extremely smoothly. I cannot thank Katie, Jen, Kevin and all of the other staff at Squire's enough. It was an incredibly hot day (34 degrees) with rather strong winds, and pretty much an entirely outdoor ceremony and canape reception! Despite this, everything was perfect and all of our guests had a fantastic time. I credit this to the amazing staff who communicated excellently with all the vendors to make small changes here and there to ensure we had the best day possible, without guests even noticing.
In terms of the venue itself - it is stunning! We had many guests comment this to us also. The outlook from the Croquet Pavillion to the dam and vineyards is beautiful and is perfect as a wedding backdrop. There are also so many lovely places on the venue to get photos. The venue itself is well equipped for indoor or outdoor receptions depending on preference or weather. The on-site accommodation is also great, allowing you bridal party and immediately family to stay with you. We extended and had a four day weekend, and it was the best decision. The pet-friendly suite is also a bonus if you have a dog - our golden retriever Ollie was welcomed with open arms by the staff and was with us for pretty much the entire wedding :)
Overall, I would highly recommend Squire's Vineyard to any couples looking for a wedding venue in the Hunter Valley. The venue is beautiful and well equipped for any style of wedding you like. The staff are amazing and will go above and beyond for your special day.
