We're a Dog-Friendly Wedding Venue

Your wedding day at Squire's Vineyard is a celebration of love, family, and the start of a new chapter. For many couples, "family" absolutely includes their beloved four-legged companion. We understand that your dog isn't just a pet, but a cherished member of your family, and the thought of celebrating your most special day without them feels incomplete.

At Squire's Vineyard, nestled in the heart of the Hunter Valley, we embrace the joy that dogs bring and are delighted to help you incorporate your furry friend into your wedding celebration in a thoughtful and seamless way.

Imagine the photos, the smiles, the unforgettable moments – your dog playing a special role, perhaps as a ring bearer, walking down the aisle with you, or simply being there to share in the joy. We believe these moments are precious and are pleased to offer options to make them possible.

We want to ensure both our human guests and furry attendees have a wonderful and safe experience. Here’s how we welcome dogs at your wedding:

• Ceremony Inclusion
  We are happy for you to include your dog in your ceremony! Let us know your ideas during a planning meeting.

• Cocktail Hour
  Your dog is welcome to join the celebration during the cocktail hour on the Croquet Lawn.

• Reception
  Dogs are permitted on the reception deck area, allowing them to stay close by. For the comfort and safety of all guests they must be on a lead. Dogs are not permitted inside the main dining area.

• Accommodation Restrictions
  To maintain the highest standards for all our guests, dogs are only permitted inside our designated dog-friendly accommodation, Suite 4, and are not allowed in any other accommodation under any circumstances.

• Dedicated Handler
  For the duration of the event, your dog must be supervised by a designated handler (who's not the marrying couple) and kept on a leash at all times. The only exception to this is when they are inside the dog friendly suite #4. Please note, there are kangaroos in and around the property.

• No Size or Breed Restrictions
  We welcome dogs of all shapes and sizes – there are no breed or size restrictions. Please let us know how many dogs you would like to incorporate in your wedding/stay at Squire's

• No Extra Fees
  There are no additional charges for bringing your dog. However, you may wish to arrange a dedicated dog sitter for peace of mind.

We are thrilled to offer Suite 4 as our dedicated dog-friendly accommodation option. This space ensures your pet has a comfortable and secure place to relax and includes:

• Comfortable lodging for you and your pet.
• A secure, private dog run, allowing your companion space to stretch their legs safely and enjoy the fresh Hunter Valley air.
• Easy access to all the areas on our picturesque grounds (leash required outside the run).

• Let Us Know
  Please mention you'd like to include your dog when you enquire or discuss it with our wedding team during your planning meetings. This ensures we can factor them into the arrangements seamlessly.

• Assign a Handler
  Choose a trusted friend, family member, or consider hiring a professional dog sitter who knows your dog well. This person will be responsible for their care, supervision, feeding, walks, and managing them during the event segments they attend.

• Consider Your Dog's Temperament
  Be realistic about whether your dog will be comfortable and happy in a wedding environment with many people and excitement.

• Pack Essentials
  Bring their food, water bowls, leash, waste bags, favourite bed, and toys to make them feel secure and at home in our Dog-Friendly Suite 4.
